A renaming to know
From 15 December 2025, Salesforce renamed this credential the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator. It is the same certification and exam code (Plat-Admn-201); older material may still say Administrator. The same update added the Agentforce (AI) domain, so use current eight-domain material and confirm details on the official Salesforce exam guide.

Can I use notes in the Salesforce Administrator exam?
No. It is proctored and delivered through Pearson VUE at a test centre or online. Use this for final revision before exam day only.
