Domain 1 — Networking Concepts
The OSI model, network types and topologies, IP addressing and subnetting, ports and protocols, and cloud networking concepts.
Domain 2 — Network Implementation
Routing and switching technologies, wireless standards and configuration, and physical cabling and infrastructure.
Domain 3 — Network Operations
Monitoring, documentation and processes, plus availability, disaster recovery and organisational policies.
Domain 4 — Network Security
Security concepts, common attacks, hardening, secure access, and physical security.
Domain 5 — Network Troubleshooting
CompTIA’s troubleshooting methodology and the tools used to diagnose cabling, connectivity and performance issues.
